March Snow Brings April Showers

So, durning the winter months of November, December, January, and Feburary, we got maybe one or two days of snow. In March we got one or two days of snow. It is still in the 30's and it doesn't look good in the 10 day forecast of getting any warmer by much.

Photoshop class

So this semester I am taking a photo editing class, which is basically photoshop. And i wanted to show off my first two ever photoshop class assignments. I know they might not be anything too special but i am proud of them.

Our Christmas

So we had a wonderful time in Washington. It was simply one of the most fun times. Laughter, gifts, games, you name it we probably did it.
Tiva found a new man in her life while we were there. His name is Carson, yes our almost three year old nephew. He loved her so much, that one time his mom tried to hold his hand and he pushed hers away just so he could grab Tiva's. It was cute. Teva is how he pronounces her name, while he pronounces mine as Uncle Uga. He will get it sooner or later.
We made home safely on our 6 o clock flight (a.m.) out of Seattle, thanks again Steve for driving us there, we are still getting our bodies use to going to sleep early and waking up early. Some reason Tiva's school district, and my university were the only ones that started on Jan 2nd, everyone else got the day off. We that is how life goes sometimes.

Our First Christmas Tree

Yes this is our second Christmas together, but our first one we were living with Tiva's parents, so we didn't need to get one. Now we have our own place, it is time for our own tree. And look it already has presents under it. : )

Thanksgiving/Black Friday

Thanksgiving was great. Spending the morning and afternoon watching football with the boys, and then eating some delish food, and spending time with the Utah family, which is always a great time. To end up the day, while watching the last football game, we looked through Black Friday deals.

So Tiva and I did it, we took on the crowd of Black Friday. The only problem was there was no crowds were we went. We started off with waking up at 4:30, to get to Big 5 Sporting goods, by 5am. there were like 20 people in front of us, we got in and out pretty easily. Our next stop wasn't open until 6. So we went and got some early morning breakfast at McDonald's. While eating in our car, in the parking lot of our next destination (which won't be mentioned because of potential people reading this), we noticed Target's parking lot was quite empty for this morning. So we went into it, and got some cheap things, and had little to no wait at the checkout stand.

When we got into the store of our choice, we went straight to our item. We saw a huge line, but then noticed no one had anything in their hands. They were waiting for pick up items. So we were able to go straight to the checkout stand, getting our best deal of the day.

We finished our adventure with 3+ more hours of sleep.

Update

So life has been going on, and blogging hasn't, we will try to update as much as possible. We are new to this all. We will get some pictures up too. Life has been going well. Tiva is teaching high school history (1st Year). I am attending Weber State University, and finishing up generals and pre reqs for the Social Work Program. I am also working for a Foster Care company, being a role model/big brother like individual for some foster kids. It has been fun so far. We are living in Ogden UT, enjoying every minute of it.
